    I absolutely loved the poetry book, "The Twelve Days of Kindergarten" because it has singing and repetition coming from the song, "The Twelve Days of Christmas. This poetry book was about A child's experience in entering kindergarten. The teacher in this story is very lovable and has the kindergarten students doing varies of activities/5(30). Henry, a mouse, is all for “going” to kindergarten, but isn’t quite sure if he really wants to stay! His apprehensions are quickly overcome when he finds a classroom full of friends and fun things to do. This book is written for younger children, pre-K as well as K. .
